Gender Reveal Party Ideas
Gender reveal parties are a great opportunity to have some fun with your closest friends and family. While gender reveal balloons and smoke cannons are a great finale for your event, you can play a variety of different gender reveal games as part of the build up. Keep your guests guessing by playing gender reveal roulette where you fill 9 balloons with white confetti and only one with pink or blue. Alternatively mix in a pink or blue confetti popper with a selection of white ones to build up the anticipation.
Gender Reveal Balloon
Gender reveal balloons are fun way to make a bang at your event. First decide on the size of the black balloon from 30cm to up to a massive 1 metre. Insert pink or blue confetti depending on the gender and fill with air, or helium if you want the balloon to float and tie the balloon off. We recommend rubbing the balloon with a towel or clothing whilst shaking the balloon to get the confetti to stick to the sides. The static charge will get the confetti to stick, avoiding it from clumping in the middle. Once ready, choose a pin, pop, and revel in the excitement from your friends and family!
Gender Reveal Smoke Cannons NZ
Gender reveal smoke cannons are a fun way to pop before you pop. Our smoke cannons use compressed air (no explosives or fireworks) which is released by twisting the bottom of the cannon. The 'smoke' that these shoot into the air is actually coloured rice or corn powder (also known as holi powder) which is completely natural and biodegradable. It will disperse into the air leaving little trace that you have just announced such exciting news to your loved ones
Gender Reveal Poppers Auckland
Gender reveal poppers are perfect for announcing the sex of your baby with a bang. Shooting a cloud of pink or blue confetti into the air is an exciting way to declare the soon to be new borns gender. Gender reveal confetti poppers can also be used indoors where smoke cannons could make a mess.
Gender Reveal Golf Balls
Hit off your gender reveal party with our fun Gender Reveal Golf Balls Set. These golf balls are filled with coloured rice powder that break open on impact revealing a puff of pink or blue smoke. A smashing good way to reveal the gender of your baby to your friends and family! If golf isn't for you, try our gender reveal baseball or soccer ball!
Gender Reveal Confetti
Gender reveal confetti is typically made from pink or blue tissue paper cut into round circles. This is an environmentally friendly way to make sure foil and plastic doesn't get into nature.
Gender Reveal Decorations NZ
Decorate your party space with a variety of pink and blue decorations. Choose from pink and blue balloons, plates, cups, napkins adorned with questions marks and 'boy or girl?' messages. Bake a gender reveal cake or cupcakes and top them off with little onesies or baby messages.
When should a gender reveal be done?
Gender reveal parties can be held any time once the sex of the baby is known. This is typically after the 20-week scan when an ultrasound technician can identify the babies anatomy. Gender reveals can also be combined with baby showers which allows all your friends and family to celebrate the announcement of your babies gender.
Who plans a gender reveal party?
The parents of the soon to be born child typically plan and host the gender reveal party. However they may often use a trusted friend or family member to find out the gender before everyone else. This allows the parents to be surprised at the same time as their closest friends and family.
Are gifts given at gender reveal parties?
If the gender reveal is hosted or part of a baby shower then it is generally expected that you bring a gift. However if the gender reveal is its own event, gifts are typically not required but will always be appreciated!
